Delete Your Account & Data

SteelRep has no sign-up, login, or online account. Your identity is simply the Apple ID or Google account already signed in on your phone, and your workout data lives on your device and in your own platform cloud (iCloud on iPhone, Android Auto Backup on Android). Because there is no SteelRep server account, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf — you remove your data directly, and it is gone for good.

This page explains exactly how to do that on each platform.

What data SteelRep holds

  • Workout and profile data (your logged sets, programs, bodyweight, age, and any nickname) — stored on your device and synced to your iCloud (iOS) or backed up via Android Auto Backup (Android). SteelRep cannot see this data; it never leaves your control.
  • Anonymous diagnostics and analytics (crash reports and aggregate usage), used only to keep the app stable. This is not tied to a name, email, or account.

Delete your data on iPhone & iPad (iOS)

  1. Delete the app: touch and hold the SteelRep icon on your Home Screen, tap Remove App, then Delete App. This removes all SteelRep data stored on the device.
  2. Remove the iCloud copy: open Settings, tap your name at the top, then iCloud → Manage Account Storage (on some iOS versions, Manage Storage). Select SteelRep and tap Delete Data from iCloud.

Once both steps are done, every piece of your SteelRep workout data has been permanently removed from your device and your iCloud. (Exact menu wording can vary slightly between iOS versions.)

Delete your data on Android

  1. Clear the app's data: open Settings → Apps → SteelRep → Storage & cache, then tap Clear storage (sometimes Clear data). This deletes the on-device SteelRep database.
  2. Uninstall the app: touch and hold the SteelRep icon and tap Uninstall (or remove it from Settings → Apps → SteelRep). Uninstalling removes the Android Auto Backup snapshot associated with the app.

To confirm no backup remains, you can also check Google One → Storage → Backups on your device and remove any SteelRep backup listed there. (Exact menu wording can vary slightly between Android versions and manufacturers.)

Delete diagnostics & analytics data

The anonymous diagnostic and analytics data described above is the only data SteelRep ever holds outside your device. To request its deletion, email [email protected] from the device you used, and we will delete the diagnostic data associated with it. We action these requests within 30 days.
